Join our Sisters and friends on the farm on Sunday, October 16, for the seventh annual Monocacy Farm Food Festival, a family-friendly day featuring local food, artisans and vendors; a petting zoo, chef demo, live music, farm tours, raffles, and the ever-popular Bob Swaim and his unique collection of bikes and toys.
Visit the "Ask a Chef" station, enjoy live music by Cassandra Rose and the Stevie Vicks Duo, bring the kids for balloon animals and hands-on activities, and make your own wildflower seed bomb with The Wildlands Conservancy. There is literally something for everyone!
The festivities run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., but get there early, as the first 100 families will receive a goodie bag filled with samples and other fun items from event sponsors and vendors.
The suggested admission donation is $5 per person or $10 per family. Parking is free. While you're here, grab some official Monocacy Farm Project merch. All proceeds benefit Monocacy Farm Project.
Keep an eye on the event Facebook page for ongoing event updates.
