The season of Lent is a special time of worship, forgiveness and piety. Lent invites us as a community to draw closer to Christ in his suffering. Given the challenges of this past year, it is also the perfect time for reflecting on the Psalms. Like the writers of the Psalms, we too may be feeling the conflicting emotions of joy, gratitude, loss and sorrow. They are hymns of thanksgiving and wisdom, as well as contrition and repentance. Join us as we read and discuss the Psalms and learn how to incorporate these powerful words into the challenges of our daily lives.
