Covid really shook things up, didn't it? Things we took for granted suddenly moved front-and-center. The "status-quo" has been replaced by a "status quest" with the question on everyone's mind being: "Now What?" What will the new norm be? It's a question asked at every level of society! The world at large! Governments, both national and local! Businesses! Families! Individuals! Even you!
Now what? What's next for you? Where are you headed? What are you seeking? How you answer questions such as these will impact not simply the rest of your life here but even your eternity beyond!
Join us as we explore such questions in the larger context of our spiritual journey. Discover how you can connect with God through Christ His Son even amidst the busyness of life. Find camaraderie with other men seeking similar answers and walking the same path. This will be an interactive program with reflections on prominent men in the Bible, discussion, special prayer times, and a barbecue luncheon! No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, Now What? will help you develop a deeper, more personal relationship with God!
All participants are welcome to join us for coffee and donuts at 9:30 a.m.
About the Presenter: The Rev. Rick Sergi has been senior pastor of Emmanuel Evangelical Congregational Church in Bethlehem, Pa., since 2014, before which he spent 31 years as an engineer and software developer with a high-tech telecommunications company. Pastor Rick delights in helping people of all walks of life to deepen their relationship with God. Longtime residents of the Lehigh Valley, he and his wife, Joan, share three daughters and eight grandchildren. Raised as Catholics, their relationships with God were transformed during Rick’s time in the U.S. Air Force. It was then that God became not just “important” or even a priority for him, but the very focus and reason for his life. His love for God is real and contagious, and his Bible exposition is both refreshing and easy to grasp.
