It was in the village in Greccio, Italy, that a living Nativity scene was created by St. Francis of Assisi, and the people gathered to celebrate Christmas. Join our Sisters at 1:30 p.m. next Wednesday, December 20, at our Franciscan Resource Center in Pittsburgh as we recall the story of Greccio, the meaning it had for St. Francis, and the significance it has for us today. You are invited to share a photo of your nativity at home or, if you’d like, to bring along the actual set.
All are welcome, and no RSVP is necessary. Freewill offerings accepted. Have questions? Contact us at 412-761-2855 or frcpgh@schoolsistersosf.org.
