How good and pleasant it is when
God’s people live together in unity.

United in Prayer

Join Us in Daily Reflection Leading Up to Election Day

As Election Day approaches this November 5, so many among us are experiencing anxiety, as we seek healing, respect, unity, and honesty. That’s why it’s so important to pray for wisdom at this stressful time. Ask yourself what you wish for our country and what candidates can do that for us in elections up and down the ballot. Allow the Holy Spirit to go before you when you cast your vote. Please also pray for acceptance of the outcome so that we may be united as one.

Our Sisters invite you to unite with us and with one another in prayer over these coming days. Here, we are sharing an election Novena to pray beginning Sunday, October 27, as well as a more simple, single prayer to offer as you wish. Click the buttons below to view, download and/or print the materials for yourself and your loved ones. We also remind you to exercise your voice and vote!

The vote is precious. It is almost sacred. It is the most powerful nonviolent tool we have in a democracy.
— John Lewis
