How to Request Your SFA Transcript
When St. Francis Academy in San Antonio closed in 2002, the Sisters purposefully left the academic records with the Archdiocese of San Antonio’s Office of Archives & Records Management so that these records would remain geographically accessible by our graduates. We frequently receive calls to our Provincial Office in Pittsburgh requesting copies of records and graduation verification for potential employers. The Sisters are not able to provide such information because the records are no longer in our possession. However, the information below will help graduates and potential employers access the information they need.
Alumnae Requesting A Transcript
The Archdiocese of San Antonio requires submission of a Student Records Request Form. You can print a copy of the form here, then send the completed form — along with a copy of your photo ID and $5 — to:
Archives & Record Management Office
Archdiocese of San Antonio
2718 W. Woodlawn
San Antonio TX 78228-0410
Please see the form for submission details. Once your request is processed, a copy of your transcript will be sent to you. Additional questions can be directed to the Archdiocese of San Antonio at 210-734-2620.
Employers Seeking Verification
Potential employers seeking information about graduates of the former St. Francis Academy are required to fax a written request to the Diocesan Office of Archives & Records Management at 210-734-7021. Requests also may be emailed to archive@archsa.org. The archives will only confirm or deny the information that is provided on the written request. The archdiocese will not give out additional information, so the written request should be specific. Graduates must provide permission for records to be released. This permission may be granted using the Student Records Request Form. Employers should not call the School Sisters of St. Francis in Pittsburgh, as we are unable to help you. Additional questions can be directed to the Archdiocese of San Antonio at 210-734-2620.
