SCENES FROM OUR 2014 JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS IN PITTSBURGH & BETHLEHEM
The School Sisters of St. Francis 2014 Jubilarians renewed their vows before Sister Bernadine Marie Stemnock, provincial minister, in celebrations held at both Mount Assisi Convent in Pittsburgh and Monocacy Manor in Bethlehem. Three Jubilarians – Sisters Patricia Brennan, Ruth Zacharias and Aurelia Cerny – celebrated their 60th jubilees for a combined 180 years of religious life. The Jubiliarians extend their collective gratitude to all who played a role in making their celebrations so joyous.
Seven deceased sisters also were honored posthumously: Sister M. Teresita Churilla (80th), Sister M. Germaine Raskovsky (80th), Sister M. Hermina Terek (80th), Sister M. Annunciata Youhas (80th), Sister M. Jeanne Schwartz (70th), Sister M. Miriam Tomajko (70th) and Sister M. Annette Kuchta (60th).
